Настройка разрешения в консоли (grub2)

1. edit /etc/default/grub

#GRUB_GFXMODE=800x600x16
#GRUB_GFXPAYLOAD_LINUX=800x600x16
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="nomodeset vga=788 console=tty0 console=ttyS0,115200n8"
2. run command grub2-mkconfig to generate new /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
UPDATE:

The minimum change of the /etc/default/grub is looking like below,

where the “nomodeset vga=788” is used to set the text console resolution,
and “net.ifnames=0 biosdevname=0” is used to set the network interface names to traditional name in the format of ethX.
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="nomodeset vga=788 net.ifnames=0 biosdevname=0 rhgb quiet"
PS

For GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT:

1. “console=tty0 console=ttyS0,115200n8” is set for OpenStack console log.
2. “nomodeset vga=788″ is set for text console screen resolution.
3. For RHEL/CentOS 7 installations with GUI, “quiet” and “splash” may be needed in addition with “nomodeset vga=788″.
